I have had my hp laptop since jan 08, with integrated nvidia 7150m and i spent only $600 on my laptop, and it saves a hell of a lot more power than a dedicated laptop costing double the price and then some. I can play cod4, crysis and mass effect all on high settings but at low resolution, but for the price my laptop was WOOP"D"F'N - DOOOOOOOOOO!

i think a lot of ppl are dishing out a lot more cash than they need to be and being ignorant to integrated graphics power these days.

One thing that I would point out though is that frequently these m class chips are not supported by the software developers. That means that it works sometimes, it doesn't others, or thirdly you might have to wait for a patch. My experience with a laptop w/ an integrated m class chipset was similar except that I found a year or two out there were severe compatibility issues that didn't let me play certain games at all. There is no work-around for many off these problems so I would caution on that.

My brother has a laptop with that card, it chugs on Doom 3 with medium settings, and you can play Crysis on high? Lol.

Your either lieing or you think that 5 frames per second is acceptable on games like Crysis.

30-60 frames7jack

Your lieing, 8800's struggle with that game.. On high settings they are lucky to get above 40fps in most areas.. And those cards are MANY times more powerful then your onboard chip.

I don't believe you even if you'd say you played it at 640x480, all on high and that you had 30-60 frames XD.

You went from 30-60 to 20-30 pretty fast. There is NO way you can get those kinds of frames with an intergrated card with Crysis on High.

You want us to believe you? Post some screens of the settings in Crysis and your other games and some ingame shots with a FPS counter on. Better yet, post a video of you playing them.

640x480 on Doom 3 @ low = 36 fps. I doubt you can even launch Crysis.

Wrong. Crysis doesn't support 640x480 and I highly doubt Mass Effect or any semi-recent games do either (don't have it installed to check). You're happy with certain games working on your crappy laptop....thats fine. However I really don't see why you feel the need to lie acting as if it's even more powerful than you are really experiencing.

he is obiosuly lying lowering rez aint gonna let u play at high on crysis or mass effect or any game released today on a crappy integrated graphics card. hell i dont even think crysis will run if u want a really fast gaming laptop that wont break the bank get a gateway P-7811FX for just 1400$ u get performance similiar to that of ultra highend models like alien wares offerings.

You can force 640x480 with an autoexec.cfg

You do realise that your 7150m is not even a gaming card right? Even some real gaming cards can't max out the games you said.

i dont believe that it possible either. not on that setup. you can see my setup below and i can only just get acceptable performance - 30-40 fps - on crysis with high settings (1024 x 768 res)

there is no way an integrated graphics card could do that i dont believe
