integrated video card

Hi, i was doing some research on how to view how much ram my computer is sharing with my ati radeon 4250. My computer has 6 gb of ddr3 ram, so im not worried about sharing too much. However, when i type in "dxdiag" to view my specs and stuff for my video card, it claims that my integrated video card is using "approx. total memory: 2894 MB". Now, im thinking this just can't be right. Anybody care to shed some light on the situation?

The Radeon 4250 has 512Mb of dedicated VRAM and yes it will pull additional memory from your DDR3 RAM if necessary. However with only 40 streaming processors it's really not meant for any kind of gaming.

not really, its 512mb native and pulls more if needed, but it shouldnt ever actually need it....that kinda card is not the kind of card to be pushed THAT far (kinda like the pointless 1gb of dd2 i had on my 9500gt.......)
