its a server processor what do u expect intel pland to release desktop 6-core procs soon and will be built on 32nm die so should really fast and hopefully not cost 12K :D
Can't say that anyone here should be concerned with the i6. I thought Intel was going to be heading towards the i5 for their next step in the ever evolving CPU process....and that they were leaving the i6 for servers. Perhaps I'm must remembering wrong???
thats because its built for servers not desktops. hello mr obvious. it says xeon so i know its a server CPU. but everyone was talking like when will there be a six core CPU? so i wanted to show the people who were looking that intel allready had one out!
