Both builds look excellent. Â :)
I would go with the Intel build personally. Â The 3570k is a great CPU, and AMD CPUs just don't quite always compete with their Intel rivals. Â I'll get flamed into the depths of hell for saying that, but honestly I'd say that's the way to go.
16 GB of RAM is excessive currently but since RAM is dirt cheap, I don't see why not. Â Eventually if you do need more, then at least you'll have it already, rather than face the hassle of troubleshooting down the road that you need more RAM for whatever reason. Â I don't need 16 GB of RAM but I have that much anyway.
I'd say it looks great. Â :D
Go with Intel, but with an LGA 1150 motherboard and an i5-4670k. Â The lga 1155/3570k is a great setup, but it's now "last generation." Â Unless you have to pay in excess of an extra $100 or so, go with the newer LGA 1150 platform.Â
