im gonna wait until quad cores are fully used in games before i get one, hopefully by then the q6600 will be old new and i can get a sweet 45nm quad for the same price :D

While Intel has done very dirty practices, it's the consumer who wins with better competition and lower prices. It's a corporation that's here to make money off of you so you might as well get the best performance for your dollar. Look at this way, thank AMD for pushing Intel to make the C2D and thank Intel for pushing the envelope and forcing AMD to up the ante.

Meh, I just read an article in the newspaper about the Penryn, and it's gonna kick Core 2's ***. I'm going to have to save my moneyz and $130 Fry's gift card for that. :P
I will probably be upgrading when the penryn quads come out and if they are any good than i will get that instead but if they want 500 bucks for them then they can kiss my cheap arse and im getting a core 2 duo quad.
