Can anybody tell me which processor is better for gaming. Intel Q9300 or Intel E8400????? Karthik1994
Most games today just make use for 1 or 2 cores, so the Dual would be better as it has a higher clock, on the otherhand, if you OC the Quad to ~3.3ghz it would be just as good in games as the dual is stock, and the quad will do better in ewrythig else than games, the dual will reach the higher OC of them two.
Personal i'd opt for the one that has the best price on it, the lower the better.
