I've been configuring my connection options so that my comp can produce a faster internet connection.

I've run into a problem, I need to enter my listen port to speed up Torrent files.

I've seached everywhere and can't seem to find out what my listen port is.

If you could let me know,

Thanks In Advance,

in most cases you just make a random 4 digit number(port), then configure your router to allow all inbound/outbound traffic on that port.

It's not just any random number though.. and it's not always 4 digits.
The best numbers to use are between 49152 and 65534 because they're Dynamic, or PRivate ports. This means it's less likely that any other programs will be using them, and they shouldn't be blocked either by your internet comapny or your router.

PS. Torrents, PC gaming forums... what on earth could you be doing?
