Sounds like a cable issue. Try another cable and also try another port on the router. Before you do this reset it to DHCP and turn the computer off. When you plugin the new cable and or new port turn it back on.
I had a similar situation with my friend's router. It was an old Linksys wireless router with two wired connections and one wireless. We added one more computer via wire, and the router lost the connection to the Internet. The fix: New router and static IP's on ALL computers. It's been working well so far.

The cable runs 60ft so switching isn't an option, and all of the ports on the back of my router are taken up. should I just switch the ports around? BTW I have 4 wired connections and 1 wireless. OK. That is five connections. What router do you have?
Time Warner Cable is a cable provider. They are usually associated with Road Runner or AOL. I would say just try resetting your modem and seeing if it helps.
