I have been considering buying an Ipod Classic 160gb and i've heard they will make a classic with even more gb for the same price. Has anyone heard of this? Is the 160gb worth it?

Only if you are into buying movies and TV shows a lot or if you have the biggest collection of music ever, then I would say yes, but otherwise no. The nano or touch might be better.

i have a 160gb classic and i have around 75 gb of movies/tv shows and 20gb of music so far. its nice cuz you dont have delete anything or pick and choose what you want on your ipod. you dont neccessarly have to buy your music/movies, and you can get them from other "sources" like many people do.

The iPod Classic is a great buy. There is no news circulating about a new ipod anytime soon other than the new iphone so now is a good time to buy. Depending on how much content (Music and Movies) you have, you may want to go for the 80 gig model. Capacity is your choice but either way you should buy one.
