Hi,

I have a question about the ipod nano's battery life: If I play a certain mp3 track with a 224 kbpsbirate, for example, will that cosume a significantly higher amount of battery power than when playing the same track, mp3 encoded but with 128 kbps birate only?

Thanks

Short answer is NO. Playback is playback. Quality of recording will only be noticable when you play on a better quality system with quality speakers. If all you are using is headphones, unless you have good hearing, there will be no noticeable difference.

I think you guys are skipping his question. There should be no noticeable difference in battery life.
