is 9600gt good enough?

ok so heres my specs
apevia x-cruiser with 500w psu
CPU: e5200 ocd to 2.9ghz
2gb gingle ram
Optical Drive: Samsung 20x DVD-RW SATA
MSI G31M3-F

im using a hp p930 crt monitor 20"

now i plan to play every game possible :) so whats the highest a 9600gt will give me? im planning to buy one today actually so should i buy one or just save and get something better?

The 9600GT would max many games at 1280x1024...dont expect it to max future games though.

Dont get me wrong its a good card for current games but in the near future it wont quite be able to max them out.

hmm well as daytona said it wont max future games. but will i still be able to play and enjoy future games :)?

Neither will your CPU either way you are going to have to upgrade sometime in the future, maybe to quad..

You will probably be able to play the upper-level graphics games on medium for ~2 years. After that it will most likely rot, along with your duo core. =/

You should be able to play and enjoy games on that card for at least two more years if you don't mind medium settings.
