is a 32in HDTV enough for gaming?

I dont have too much space in my living room... so i will sit at 4-6 feet from the TV... is a 32" LCD HDTV enough??
i have seen one of 800:1 contrast 8s response at 1368*766 resolution LG Tv at a nice price... what do you thinK?

It's enough, plenty for watching tv, and since games are HD, you'll find you can easily pull up close to 3-4 feet for games. Sit too far away, and you have a disadvantage with your response time to seeing smaller things in the distance.

but beware, A contrast of 800 isnt that high, if you do not notice any strange colors while watching television/gaming you should go for it, otherwise aim at some higher number.

While the contrast ratio is a bit low, a 32" sounds like it will fit your room nicely.
