My monitor goes wavy sometimes, when i change resolution. I am using a VGA cable. Will a dvi cable eliminate this problem?

Change to a DVI cable and set your resolution to it's default setting. It should work much better. Cheers

If your Graphics card supports DVI you should definitely go that route. DVI is basically HDMI, they both are digital, while VGA is analog. DVI looks much better, especially if your monitor has an HDMI or DVI input (if it has an HDMI port, use a HDMI-to-DVI cable, and if it has a DVI port just use the DVI cable obviously :)

DVI is made for LCD screens, it's wierd that they didn't give you one with the screen or video card???
