is anyone trying to sign up for the starwars Old republic beta?

i am and it keeps saying it cant be displayed then when i was finally on like the last page it just cut me off and said they were running site mateneince. anyone else having problems

yep, i think i saw a thread here about the beta a few hours ago and there were users saying that they couldn't get through. i clicked the beta link and the first page i saw was the maintenance page. i gave up then.

More like is anyone NOT trying to sign up for the old republic beta?

i've given up on it damn site is pissing me off

The site is working but its sllllloooowwwwwwww. The system scan takes forever.

the system scan was quick for me..but getting to that point took me about an hour...i'm happy i'm signed up now tho..i can sleep good

5 minute afther I reply I get my email confirmation :D

This is Star Wars so its not suprise their site crashed under the immense traffic.

Mine isn't freezing or crashing... It just keepts resetting... I will agree to the agreement, fill out my personal info and click continue... It will then load for a few seconds and I will be back on the agreement page...

I can't tell if I am registered or what... But after I fill out the personal info, there is no acknowledgement or thank you displayed, there are no further questions about my PC specs or my gaming habits (most of my other testing, when signing up I would be asked to describe my PC, past testing, gaming habits like time played a week, etc..) None of that this time...

i had that happen too keep trying and if the scan doesn't work try the update that worked for me

and on another not i will most likely not get in considering my luck

gave up until the week-end. Every time I try to enter my personnal info for the beta, the page just reset when I press continue. that bsFranko_3

I managed to sign up after a day of frustration. I seriously hope I get in.FPS_Gamer123

After trying to get to the system scan page like 50 times... I finally got there and it actually completed the scan and finsihed on my first try, it just took me three years to get to the scan... I hope I get in as well...

I am pretty sure that everyone who meets the requirements for the game will get a chance to test something... This isn't an actual beta where we get the entire game to run around and try, it said the description below after I completed my application that there will be many different testing sessions where they test different features of the game... And that they will select new testers for each of the sessions...

My advice is if you have it use IE for the scan firefox just seems to sit there and do nothing, there is a fix to get FF to work but if you have IE use that and all should be ok.
