How did you come to that conclusion? Everywhere I look list Pentium D as the "best" CPU it can take.

hmm it ough it did with fsb oh well my bad.. it don't well get a new motherboard ? i readed. i tough it would since of FSB i guess is motherboard too old ? but i tough the E2160 advtange was that it run on chipset such as Intel Chipset 965 which is pretty old aint it ?

so he as something even cheaper then g35 / P 965 if it only support Pentium D : man pentium D is BAD : i wonder what was with intel to make it happen guess is cursed to have a bad pc : tough he asked for Pentium Dual core processor it seem to run so on asus.

but E2160 seem to don't run on is motherboard as you say it seem possible since it 65nm and 800mzh fSB with 1MB cache but i guess not all Intel chipset 965 where able to run it maybe wha the got is a 945 ?!

asus sure are cheap in low profile motherboard here in spec
LGA775 socket for Intel® Pentium Process Extreme Edition / Pentium D/Pentium 4/Celeron CPU
Compatible with Intel® 05B/05A and 04B/04A processors
Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology ready
Supports Enhanced Intel® SpeedStep® Technology(EIST)

so nope.. too bad Best cpu you can get it s Pentium D 950(3.4GHz, 800 FSB, L2 4MB, revD0) which is a Bad processor anyway
