Is battelfield 3 still worth buying?

I recently got a new gaming pc, 2500k with 770; Does this game still get a lot of players online; and is it worth buying. My concern is that nobody plays it anymore and I'll have a hard time finding a game online.

If you can justify $20 for 3-4 weeks of playtime, sure.  I've been playing lately and I can find games no problem.

The BF4 beta is in 3 weeks and then the retail game will be out 2 weeks after that ends. 

Too bad you missed the Humble Origin bundle.  That would've been a no-brainer.

still a crap ton of servers up

It was $5 earlier in the year so I picked it up for PC. Many hours of fun in MP.

At this point in time, you might as well wait for BF4. Elann2008

not sure ... but irrespective of the facts regarding the players are no more interested int its playing i am loving to play it .. believe it or not !
