Is Counter-strike:Source worth getting?

I've been looking at buying CS:S but I'm not sure if it would be worth it so late after it's release. Is it worth buying?

it all depends if you like that type of game. CSS, unlike most games, does not get old with time and does not lose players. So it's probably the best $20 ever for some people

yeah, but beforewarned. it's not easy and you have to put time into it to get better.

A ton of people still play it and its a really great game.

If I had to choose though I would get TF2 over it.

Yea it is, just get the Valve Complete pack for 100 bucks, comes with all the games that everyone stil plays, cs 1.6, left 4 dead, day of defeat, team fortress 2, counter-strike source, portal, all the half-life games, its probly the best buy on pc games right now

I have to echo what every else is saying: Yes, it is worth buying. It's pretty much exactly like the original, but with much better graphics.
