Try the demo, though if graphics aren't your thing it's probably not worth your time.
If graphics aren't your thing??? LOL thats funny... [Sarcasm]Yeah, I refuse to play this game because the graphics are just too good looking...[Sarcasm] The gameplay is awesome and very fun. I would actually recommend Call of Duty 4 over Crysis though.dan_plus_o
Whooosh

jup. I absolutely love the first levels, but one can't deny that the latter ones feel misplaced. It kinda reminds me of Far Cry.
Atleast there were no doom like creatures at the end of Crysis though.
For me i didn't like the first part of the game cause it was too generic and go from point a to b but from the Tank part of the game i loved it and specially loved the Alien levels at the end because theres was just more action and the AI was better on the Aliens where as the Koreans did some weird crrap.
Nah, crysis sucks, everone rated it high for no apparant reason. f***fatzebraDid you even play it? Or are you just being a CoD4/Halo 3 fanboy?
Wow you just failed EPICALLY at seeing obvious scarcasm, good job.fatzebraWell how the hell was i supposed to know it was sarcasm?

lol. i don't think it was THAT obvious.

*Some minor spoilers (?)*
You're calling a huge sandbox game where you can attack a number of enemy strong points from a hundred different directions using a hundred different tactics generic, whereas the go-there-press-button-come-back-repeat levels that followed were... what? Not generic? Innovative? :? I'm confused. I liked every bit of the game, personally, but to call the first half generic... I don't think so. I think that the game up to where you enter the the mine was much more innovative, exciting, and creative experience than the linear levels that followed. The game tries to diguise that linearity with open spaces during the ice levels and beyond, but it didn't work quite as well as was planned, I think. Especially the ending levels....

Yeah, because it's not like that statement is rediculous, everyone reviews games and rates for no apparant reason. Your right what was I thinking? It's not like i added "F***" to the end in frustration, nope thats not obvious at all....
yes, cuz the use of the word '****' is a universal siren indicating that the statement made conveys sarcasm, right? that was sarcasm, btw.
if i were to say, 'i hate orange juice; i don't know why everyone loves orange juice. ****,' does that convey sarcasm to you?
and even the best reviewed games have their detractors. and some people just can't understand why a game is received so well, and find that their reviews aren't constructive or objective. and there are fanboys out there that will defend a game or bash a game no matter what. so you could have easily been a guy who just hated crysis and finds no argument for crysis being a good game convincing.
it's obvious to you that you were being sarcastic because you meant it to be sarcastic, but to people who read your statement, it's not all that clear. you obviously have no idea how to convey sarcasm properly. try inserting the rolling eyes clip art in that case.
I stopped reading when you just compared a video game to an off statement about oranges, so fine you win bro, because im still loling.fatzebra
whatever you say.

it's called an analogy, btw.

Yeah it is what smart people do.. I like analogies.Yea it's fun, and running up to people, grabbing and then throwing them never gets old :P.
Although I did hit a level later on where I had absolutely no idea what to do. Both exits were locked, and it turns out you had to kill everything in that area. But of course I didn't know that, so I kinda spent 30 minutes wandering around trying to work it out. Then gave up and looked at a guide :(.

Meh to me it was a good change of scenery and a different element all together.. I liked it alot.
It scored 9.5 on Gamespot. Claimed by the reviewer to be one of the greatest shooters of all time.
I've played the demo for about 15 hours... I spent less time playing the full version of BioShock and got more entertainment from the Crysis demo. The game is incredibly fun even if you don't have the hardware to run it a top level.foxhound_fox
I'll agree with this. I've logged less hours (but have only had it for a few days) into the demo but I keep coming back just to try out different ways of attacking and to cause more chaos. I have a pretty low-end "rig" (Go 7800, 1gb, Core Duo T2300) but I still enjoy it even though I have to turn down the settings.
It's fun up until you hit the aliens, then it is a blah game same as every other alien shooter. When you are fighting Koreans in your supersuit it ROCKS. vfibsuxThis is exactly how I felt. Early levels were fantastic with just a couple little nitpicky items. Once you hit the aliens though, I played through a level or two more, but just dropped the game out of boredom. I haven't picked it up since.
I wish they had just left out the alien aspect entirely.
