So, a long time ago I played a bit of Deus Ex HR but then lost interest and set it aside to finish and play again later. I was never too impressed by the graphics but they were good and the gunplay was okay for the type of game it was. Some quests were tedious, the story kind of got lost, and part of me just didnt give it the chance it deserved.

Fast forward to now and the improved version of the game is out and I wouldnt mind playing through again but is it worth it? Has it changed enough to warrant paying to upgrade to the finished version? I dont remember even playing a boss fight but then...I dont even know where I stopped playing. Just after he got augmented I think? Maybe...

What do you say?

So you are saying that you played the game for 45 minutes and then stopped?

lol not because I didnt like the game...but because I was playing other things and lost interest with it sitting on my computer. Now I want to get back into it and Im wondering if the Directors Cut is worth buying into...lol...simple question...

It's only like $5 to upgrade on steam so I don't see why not. I haven't played the Director's cut yet as I already beat the regular game 3 times.

I enjoyed Dues Ex: HR. Definitely one of my favourite games. I just had a bit of a problem with running it smoothly (wasn't on my side, regardless of what settings I used it was choppy and crashed but I finally got it to work). I say go for it.
