Basically iam seeing a lot of graphical similarities!
Would you agree?

Yes , it does , but they say it's upgraded.. Somehow.Crembo
well his hair looks better in fallout 3.......i suppose.
And for #*&$! sakes dont say its an FPS, cuz its not. Read the previews for the game... your skills count more than your ability to aim with the mouse, and you can play the entire game in an iso-metric like view using similar combat to Fallout 1+2 aswell.
Good day :P

Yeah that was definitely the highlight of the preview for me(being able to get the camera back far enough to be pseudo-isometric).
It should also mean they have more time to concentrate on game content rather than engine development.RobertBowen
Bethesda doesn't develop engines, they use Emergent Technologies' Gamebryo 2.0 middleware engine also used by Firaxis for Civilization IV and Sid Meier's Pirates!, among others.

Yeah, I used the wrong words there. I know they use Gamebryo, but they still probably had to add a lot of things themselves on top of the underlying engine for Oblivion. That's what I meant.
Yes.... yes!! I think you're right!! They... they have the same nose!!! And the eyes.... the EYES!!! They look the SAME!!! NO!!!!!
Hehe, just kidding. Well, I guess the similarities are to be expected since they are both from Bethesda. I just hope the gameplay will be distinctly different. If not, it'll just be Oblivion in a Fallout setting, and poor Fallout fans will buy it just because it is Fallout 3...
Same graphics engine, but I'm moreinterested to hear if they'll be using an upgraded physics engine this time.
Oblivion's physics always bugged me with it's slow motion corpse falls and inability to throw items. Best description I've heard of it is someone calling it "moon-like gravity".The models themselves reacted more like rubbery gumby toys than bodies with proper joints. It felt like an unfinished side of the game and would be nice to see fixed for Fallout3.
