Farcry 2 came with my new graphics card ( GTX 285 ) is this game even worth installing, anyone that has played this game how is it, I remember when Farcry 1 came out in 2004 I loved that game, but Crysis has come out and spoiled me just a little and it uses the same engine, what do you guys think about Farcry 2 if it plays like a console game I dont wanna even bother installing it
I don't understand. You already have the game but you are too lazy to try it out to see whether or not you will like it? No one else can say if YOU will enjoy the same. You have to find that out for yourself.

I see where he was coming from, though: a lot of people said it was **** (i wasn't one of them) and he wanted to know if they were right or what.
I'd say no. I actually own the game myself after reading a few reviews and it is crap. I haven't beat it, but don't even want to have it installed because it was so bad. It absolutely feels like a console shooter with the lazy mouse movement and bb-gun feel of the guns. Some people like it, but I played the first 2 hours of it about 4 times each time thinking I should give it another chance and I haven't enjoyed it at all.
its ok nothing great ...I kinda feltlike it was GTA's elder brother .Do missions get reputations blah blah new weapons. I kinda felt bored after some time but first few parts are good . If u have it u should install it ..
It's basically Grand Theft Land Rover. It wasn't a bad game, but I got bored partway through and haven't picked it up again yet. (Disclaimer: I played it on 360.)
Well, you should try it for yourself, there are many people who like, and there are many people who dislike it, for their own particular reasons, it's up to you to decide if it's fun or not...I enjoy it a lot...
I think you should install it and check it out. You have a great new card, and for all you know, you might like it. I've been told that Doom 3 and Quake 4 are bad and repetitive, but I am enjoying them a lot.
give it a go, it sounds like your after good graphics more than anything else, and Far Cry 2 looks quite spectacular. i think it was a good game, i played it through to the end. it requires creativity, if you want the game to hold your hand and make sure you are having fun, then skip on it, but if you are capable of setting up your own crazy infiltration strategies the game is a blast.
Yea it's worth installing it's probably one of the best shooters that you can get and the graphics aren't utter **** like previously stated. it's a good op;en world shooter.

Definetly not worth installing, I got bored quick. Its really repetitive and the AI respawning every 5 mins is annoying as hell. I definetly considered it a waste of 50 bucks. Oh and online is horrible, nobody plays.
