LMAO, the game is still at its original price which it didnt deserve whatsoever. man the game worth only 5$ at best. great graphics, horrible weapons and more horrible enemies and the most horrible story. the main character is awesome tho.

Actually in most countries including mine is still $40-50 and i dont get why is that the case and to answer if its worth it i will say no. For instance you can get something like stalker shadow of chernobyl for $10-15 or both Crysis games for $40-50
Its an average 3rd person shooter at best....now what the x360 users are yapping about..... -No story -awful weapons and combat -all levels are ruinded buildings..ohh wait there is an underground level too -every 3rd person shooter with take cover mechanic has done it better. I wouldnt pay more than 30 bucks.
Very good single-player but the multiplayer felt archaic and doesn't have many players left anyway, so in that sense you wouldn't be missing out. But the price sounds too high for an old game, I picked it up for less than 9 euros and for that it was great value imo.
Don´t get it at that price.While the game is very good,the PC version is inferior to the 360 and at 50$ you have better options.

how is the pc version inferior?? o well but yea its a good game.. the MP is good :).. but i wouldn't buy it for $50.. actually i would :p ..but i would recommend that you find it for less ...since its an old game
as for the single player.. its has lots of action..enough to keep you satisfied..it might not have a deep story but it does its job..

agreat gameplay with great graghic , but the story is weak , never played on line , but still my favourite 3rd PS action game for me , play at hardcore diffcalty and see the locast come over you to chainsaw you ,hahahahaha , for the price , i give it 25$
and to be more advice , this game has more fans on the xbox360 cuz the pc verion has alot of problems , like online,saves files and windows live,so manypc gamers dont give it a try to fix these problems and instead give up and say : the game is crap baby ???

I was very dissapointed in the pc version... there's tons of stuttering due to a loading problem on many pc. Epic has basically said they aren't going to fix it.
Gears is a great game, but another example of how most companies don't care about pc gamers.

I only really loved it for the atmosphere (I think it's world and the style of the whole post-apocalyptic thing it's got going is great)...but I played it back when it's universe was still very original, so I'd say that it's probly worth about $10, maybe. The gameplay is okay, but not that great.
