power supply is the msot easily futureproofed piece of hardware you can get, that's why i suggest you get something like 1000w and you'll be set for a LONG time

My rig uses 370W tops while on load -- and I'm running SLI with overclocked 8800 GTS 512s.

Sounds pretty close to me. It depends on what he considers load. My GF's PC with a Q6600 @3.2 and a single 8800 GTS 512, pulls 260w while playing Crysis Warhead. Now if I really max it, running Prime95 and Rthdribl, it goes up to 310w.

Afraid not, mate! Right-click and View Image for full resolution... had to resize them otherwise it wouldn't fit the under 1.53MB file limit at Imageshack.

LOAD (Crysis):

Was only 312W, the highest I've ever seen was at and/or around 370.

That's idle, Vista Desktop ... no programs running.

My full specs:

  • Q6600 (Stock)
  • Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7
  • 500GB HDD
  • 8GB DDR2 800
  • EVGA 780i SLI MB
  • 20X DVD+-RW
  • 3 Stock 120MM Case Fans
  • 1 High Performace Blue LED 120MM Case fan
  • 650W Antec Neopower Blue
  • (2x) EVGA 8800 GTS 512 KO
  • Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 Case

I think I named everything. :P

Frick no bud! Your card would burn up. I don't know exactly what the 485j0 requires, but its definitely bigger than a 350 watt psu. Just google it or something and quit wasting everybody's time. Not trying to be rude, but its not exactly the hardest thing in the world to find out what psu a card requres.
