Sharp's Aquos series and Samsung's are definitely the best out there. But I wouldn't get a Sony. Their panels are fine, but they don't allow 1080p through component or VGA just because that's what most 360's use. That's dirty...-GeordiLaForge-I'm not sure that's right. I visited my parents a few months ago and hooked up my 360 to their new Sony and it was doing 1080p through component- at least that's what the 360 settings were telling me.

Yea, that sounds like BS to me.

Go ahead and get one to find out for yourself. Or you can do the smart thing and google it before you try to call BS. Sorry, but it's true...[QUOTE="Chutebox"]I'm not sure that's right. If mine, I didn't Google it because I'm reporting my experience with a 52" Sony LCD (I think it was the KDL-52W4100, it was definitely one of the W TVs). I plugged my 360 in through component and set the resolution to 1080p. The image displayed on the screen and the 360 settings said 1080p. Maybe compatibility varies with different models, but that one worked.

How many times are you going to post this trash?
Since you seem to be so full of knowledge, I find it funny you got a HD gaming console without HDMI.
