the stalker games start slow, they definetly get much better as you get further.

Well yeah, it's pretty hard and slow.

Stick with it.I thought exactly the same at the start of stalker.After getting used to the weird UI and gameplay you soon get sucked in to the atmosphere. It has turned out to be one of my favourite shooters!

lol, one word post and somehow you manage to mis-spell it. Anyway, everyone's different... I personally found STALKER engaging right from the beginning, but either way it picks up more as you play along. You have to tough it out a little bit before you get any nice weapons and such.

The game starts off very hard and somewhat slow. But stick with it and it picks up after awhile.

I agree with 100%. I couldn't play more than an hour of the game before uninstalling it. I'm considering giving it another spin, though, as many folks tell me it definitely gets a lot better as it progresses. I thought it was painfully boring, I disliked the graphics, and I hated the text trees. It was a big mistake to not include voice actors to read the scripts of the game.kraychik
