Well im not that sure, what I do know is that parents can still remember the times that 'experts' said that connecting consoles to your screen would eventually destroy it... but that was 10 years ago! Things have changed and im not that sure whether or not thats still the case.

LCD's generally have a life span of 60 000 hours. It certainly won't last as long as it would if you weren't using it that much, but 60 000 hours is a lot of watch time. By then you'll most certainly be ready to replace it.

Yeah, I think thats probably the case. I have a 15 year old 27.5" CRT TV downstairs and its still going strong. It's had SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, and XBox on it it everyday for most of that time... so yeah I don't think the "experts" are totally right on that one. LOL We just keep on wondering how long that TV will actually go. :P

So I think you should be okay. Though I'm no "expert." :P Like they said above, LCDs are good for "around" 60,000 hours. And I've had some old LCD computer monitors that are still working so I wouldn't worry to much about having everything hooked up to it. I think most people are the same way. :)

If standard t.v's can do it why wouldnt HDTV's be able to last long with everything connected?
