Is it honestly worth it to go from a 8800GTS 320mb to a 8800GT 512mb?

Agreed. Unless you must have the best, wait for the new GTXs or 9800s.

I used to have the 8800gts 320mb, but I stepped up to the 8800gt through EVGA for only $25 in shipping. It was definitely worth it... But if you have to pay more than $100, then I would say NO. The 8800gt won't even come close to maxing out Crysis....

Just to give you an idea of the difference in performance, my 3Dmark score using the 8800gts 320mb was 10,500ish. My 3Dmark score using an 8800gt is 12000ish. After I overclocked my cpu and gpu, my 3Dmark score jumped up to 14000+ using the 8800gt (which is extremely good for using only 1 video card).

No, the 8800 GTS is still a really good card. You don't need to run every game at max settings to enjoy it. Heck, playing Crysis even on medium settings still looks very very good.

No, for gods sake, don't waste your money, your 8800GTS is fantastic, don't pay the money for such a terribly small upgrade. Wait until the next generation of cards come out, and then maybe, and I say, MAYBE think of an upgrade.

I'm using EVGA's set-up program to go from the gts 320 to the gt. I'd say it really is not worth the $$$ with out set-up.roulettethedog

Don't!

Wait for the G92 based 8800 GTS update.

Could always wait for the new gts, it'll supposedly have 128 stream processors which puts it in the same league as a full blown (current)gtx. If your gonna upgrade, try doing it like once a year so you get the most value out of your current card.
