if I get both games, will I have a hard time playing the games on easy with a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller? has anyone ever played the game using a kb/m?

I've played it on both and it worked fine either way. It really should come down to what you prefer and are more comfortable with. That's one of the great things about a PC is there are more options.

I played arkham asylum with a controller and arkham city with keyboard and mouse. Both work very fine, I actually prefer using the KB/M after playing both.

I tried both and I preferred kb/m. Looking around with the mouse is very responsive, this usually decides if I play a 3rd-person game with kb/m.

Yes and coming from a lifetime console player I can say it works very well. The adjustment was a bit difficult admittedly as I was so used to looking around with a left analog stick when now it is with a mouse, but now it's practically second nature.

Yes. In fact I prefer playing games like this and Assassins Creed with mouse and keyboard instead of gamepads.

Yeah, precision freelook with a mouse > analogue stick. The game is prefectly fine with m&kb.

There's a lot of misinformation about Arkham City. Firstly, there was this perception that because of a few launch problems with DX11 that the game was "broken and unplayable". Nonsense.

The other rubbish that came up was that you couldn't play with a K+M. That wasn't from a dopey forum comment that was from Gamespy and I quote:

"Obviously, the first difference is that it can be played with a mouse and keyboard, but you'd have to be an absolute joker to do so. This game has been carefully crafted to be played with a control pad, and plugging in an Xbox 360 controller provides a vastly superior experience than the PC's default control scheme".

What a load of rubbish. I've poured 40 hours into the game and aside from my old mouse not having enough buttons, I had no problems with the controls at all. It works beautifully with a K+M.

Just a word to everyone: just because you're reading a users experience doesn't mean that its accurate.

I didn't think it would work well on kb/m but it works surprisingly well and I have no issues, Rocksteady really did a good job porting it.
