I've wanted to purchase a copy of Counter-Strike Source ($19.99) for some time now. I've been waiting for it to go onsale on Steam, but I doubt it will. I was browsing through the store today and saw the Counter-Strike Complete pack for $29.99. It includes Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Counter Strike:Source, Day of Defeat, Deathmatch Classic and Ricochet. I'm not sure if it's a solid deal or not because I don't know if the other games, besides Counter-Stike: Source, are worth playing.

Don't buy CS complete, just not worth it.

It's not - that - long since it was on sale last, just get it for 20$

So I should just pick up a copy of CS: Source? How is CS: Condition Zero? I was interested in the single player campaign.

I've also loocked at the Source Mi=ultiplayer Pack that inculdes CS: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch for $29.99. Is that a good deal. Do people still play Day of Defeat: Source?

Condition Zero is awful, 'nuff said about that game.

DoD: Source does still have players, but try getting a gust pass off someone first. HL2: Deathmatch is actually worth it (Co-op maps and puzzle maps are just awesome now and then) but you can get that free if you have an Nvidia/ATI GPU and who does NOT have that anyways? (Links in botton of post)

So you could might aswell buý CSS and DoD: Source seperately.

A lot of people still play CS, but if you want something more up to date just get Source. I really don't see why you would want to play both at the same time and definitely stay away from Condition Zero.
