I'm having urge to play wow again after catacylsm release but I'm not sure should I go or not I quit wow almost 3 month ago got tired of doing ICC RAID for past 8 months and I still have one week left in my wow subscription before it expires.

One of my close friend bought catacylsm on launch day, I still haven't seen him for weeks lol.

Since this is new expansion I'm pretty sure I've to spend lot of time in to it leveling my character, getting reputation with faction, gearing up,leveling profession, etc. and my guild is pretty hardcore on my realm so not I'm sure should I go back or sell off my wow account with gold in for $150.

wow has been out for 6 year now graphic aren't that great look at anymore beside repeative grindfest gameplay.

I have never done end-game raiding since I never got past level 50-something in the game. All I can say now is that the beginner's areas, especially those from the new expansion pack, are more fun to level up in. Leveling is also a lot faster.

I don't know how the level 80+ areas are, but the areas for the new races, albeit smaller than those from The Burning Crusade ( you can only get to about level 12 in the new areas ), are looking great. Personally, I'm quite impressed with the graphics, especially considering the game was released in 2004.

These types off polls are useless since there are so many WoW haters in the world (myself included) that I would not doubt it if every no vote was someone who is not even subbed anymore lol.

If you're playing WoW to look at graphics you got the wrong game, art style is superb, graphics are decent and it has no reason to look impressive, actual game > graphics. You're playing this game for fun, if it isn't fun then it's not worth it. Gear is harder to get now (except the points you get from heroic dungeons for tier 11, but it will take some time), the game is way harder overall and PvP is more intense. From what you say I doubt you're looking for a challenge or something to play towards achieving something, so, no, sell the account if that's what you want to do with it.

Don't play it then. If an MMO has no grind to it then it's not going to work at all, unless developers spend huge amounts of time making a singleplayer-like experience run on for a long long time.

Having played in my friend's account and leveling a Shaman I can say there are a lot of changes. First of all, it is more noob friendly than before and more easy to level up. I don't know about Cataclysm zones but the other zones have changed for good and it is less tiresome to level up and quest but yes, it is the same grindfest as before, only more faster. And wait, do you honestly plan to sell an account for 150? I sold my Blood Elf mage at 80 with some decent gear and an awfully geared and specced 70 pally for 200.

If you got bored of grinding raids, the same thing will happen with Cata. There are no fundamental changes to the game. But if you are interested in the content, and the quests in addition to the raids, then consider giving it a shot. The new races are pretty interesting, and a LOT of the lower level content has been re-done, so it'll be more fun starting a character from scratch as well.

well I think its better to quit wow because because blizzard is going to release expansion every 2 year and plus new content to farm every six month. I've played wow more then two year now doesn't seems to be fun to me anymore same style of repetitive farming getting old I rather sell this account for $150 :) I rather play battlefield bad comanay 2 vietnam instead, Once you log in wow its very hard to log out of the game unlike first person shooter games :P

Well in Cata you get the best quests to ever appear in WoW. The new zones are a joy to play. The new WG type open PvP zone is epic. Graphics are a bit better then they used to be and the design of dungs and overall the new zones is really good and the music...oh the music. Leveling a new toon is also more enjoyable now, atleast till lvl60, Outlands feel stale. Some may say its more noob friendly, but WoW was never a hardcore game so I do not quite get why people would complain about even less grind in their game. The new Cata dungs are challanging. Working with your guildmates to raise your guild level is very satysfing. That being said if you play alot every day the 5 levels wont last you long, though like I said the new dungs are difficult and its unlikely that you will complete them on first try, or second or third. Tactics are once more things you should learn pretty fast.

not 100% on if its worth it in your situation, so i dont know what to say. what i will say is, raiding will get boring again for you at one point. its bound to happen. it happened to me with bc and wotlk. it happened to everyone who was a high-end raider.

Do the 10 day trial of Cataclysm if you can. You can't level past 80, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect. Personally I picked up the trial last week when it first became available and have to say no, it is not worth returning. Their is a lot of flash early on, seeing all the new stuff, underwater zone, couple new dungeons, but after 5 days or so it all feel the same as before. I decided I likely wont be buying it..

I'm currently knee-deep in WotLK, so my vote was a NO because Burning Crusade/WotLK is still the same...

I mean, I have deleted so many low level alts over the years, that I would be hard pressed to have a desire to re-grind, even through updated Vanilla WoW...

About ready to go on hiatus anyway, because boredom is reeling it's ugly head AGAIN...
