Bioshock has really gotten my attention at the moment, and I am willing to spen a fair amount of money to play it.

The problem is, I don't have a 360, and my pc can't meet its requirements.

I want to be able to play it at it's max settings, but that requires either purchasing upgrades for my pc, or getting a 360.

My current specs are; nVidea 6600GT, 1gb of ram, and and AMD Athlon 3500 2.2ghz

What on my pc would i need to upgrade and what would it cost in comparison to just getting a 360??

Dependson what your monitor's maximum resolution is. If it's 1024x768, you won't need much at all. 12x10, it's close, but I'd give the edge to the PC. Above that, the Xbox 360 is going to be the more cost-effective route.

I own a 360, but decided to spend the money on a PC because there are games I want to play that are PC exclusives. Crysis and Hellgate: London mainly, but there are someother great games that I've missed out on over the years.

I can only think of $200 on a video card (X1950). $50 on another GB of RAM. $100 (4200+ - I'm assuming you have a 939 setup) for dual core processor. Maybe a few more for a good PSU if you don't have one already.

Otherwise, I'd say go with an Xbox 360.

well your pc meet the mininmum requirments and a gpu upgrade should get it playable fairly well. a 7900gs should run it fine, I take it you have a 939 system but if you have agp and not pcie forget upgrading as they are overpriced. it should run on your current system just not very well
