Is it worth it to overclock?

Will I notice a difference in gaming performance? I have an E6750 and this heatsink.

If you can bump the performance up enough, yes, it's worth it. Some chips you can overclock the hell out of...others you can't.

You will be able to overclock quite nicely with the heatsink you have. E6750 is a pretty good overclocker. You will notice a btter perofrmance with an overclocked CPU.

What are the bad parts/cons about overclocking? It sounds so good on these boards but what does it do that's bad?

You risk damaging/losing parts if you OC also it may shorten the time untill it brakes since it is having to run faster.
