Is Medieval II compatible with VISTA?

 I am thinking about buying this great game, although my laptop just has VISTA and it's giving me headaches to install XP =/...

 Do you know if the game is compatible with VISTA?

Was researching some info on google.com and it turns out that it might be but you will have to install direct x 9 for it to run on direct x 9 since vista is direct x 10.Unstoppable_1

It is compatible as with 99.9% of 2002 > games.

vista allredy has a dx9 verson built in it :)
