is my cpu good for games untill 2010?

my cpu specifications are:

intel core 2 duo 2.2 ghz [e4500]

2gb of ram

nvidia 8500gt graphics card

thats an impossible question for anyone else to answer, we cant tell when you will feel that your PC is running to slow.

It depends on what you do, for gaming its already dead, for a work station yes you will be able to last until 2010.

Nope, it might run the games but not very well and you'll have to overclock it, generally top end CPUs can last 4 years before they need to be replaced with some tinkering. Your CPU is neither top end or new, neither is your RAM or GPU at the pinicle of performance so i think you'll get about 2 years at most out of it. Your GPU though proberbly won't if you want to play the newest games.

Whats your factors for good gaming experience first of all ? From that point, you MIGHT be able to have an idea, although everything can change easily because we know nothing about upcming games

Yes it could last you to 2012 but every so often the performance you will recieve will decline.

Its a good setup even if you dont overclock the CPU... the only real issue is the graphics card, if you can get hold of some cash (not much) go and get your self a 8800GS.

CPU's aren't huge problems when it comes to gaming... the help but not drasitcaly for example:

The difference from your CPU along with an 8800GT and a setup with an E6600(2.66ghz) wouldn't be more than 5-15FPS.
