He says that his X2 6000+ 2Gb ram and evga 8800gt run crysis's benchmark with an average of 55 fps on high at 1024x768?

Everywhere I look online even sli pc's dont do that good, let alone single cards.

I Have a Pc close to that and just added another 8800GT for SLI and on high at 1280x1024 I only average around 55 but it never dips below 30. Has he told you the lowest fps he gets in fights or moving? I think he's streching the truth...

Can anyone else confirm this friend's claim or disprove it? Because I think the friend is strenching the truth abit far.

Hmm...

I would say hes exagerating, but just a bit.

id guess that card would get about 25 (min) to 45(max) FPS on those settings...

But what about his screenshot of the test? Was he running it on mix of something or medium settings?

I don't doubt it. M rig runs it much better than i thought it would. i have an e6420 @ 2.13, 2Gb ram, 8800 gts 320(BFG OC edition), and I run almost everything on very high, except texture quality(medium) and 1 or 2 other things on high(I think something with shaders). It rarely dips below 15 fps, usually stays around 25. My resolution is 1440 x 900.

Who cares? Even if he's stretching the truth, he may be off by like 5fps. Give him a break. He even sent you screenshots. What more do you want?
