Sorry about the dumb thread guys, but I bought this computer 2 weeks ago and I haven't started playing games on it. I'm thinking about adding a graphics card too (2nd link, tell me if its good please)

The 9500gs is the week point, upgrading to the 9800gtx is a good idea.

The video card is quite over priced. If you don't mind ordering online, than I would say get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150337 For something that is slightly better and much cheaper. That and you get a lifetime warranty even if you overclock and swap out the cooler.

You may have to becareful though, you have to make sure your Power supply can take this. If you are around 400w, you are probably fine.

why is anyone even still considering the 98xx series any more? Nvidia has better options now to replace it with

I'd say for the amount of money you're spending there, put that into an iBuy Power PC and you'd get double the performance for the same amount of money.

because the gtx series is facking expensive. the 9800gtx+ and the gtx 260 arent even in the same price range this is why. and locally for the record. here in canada a gtx 260 is about $250 and the 9800gtx+ is easily 190

just remember that if u upgrade the gpu that u gotta make sure ur psu can handle, if its not powerful enough you could kill everything and have wasted ur money
