Of course at 1920X1080... anything more than that means u will not be in the playable fps area. And plz dont think of maxing out crysis

That rig could play can Crysis on all max details at 1080p, no problem. My 5870 does it with 2xAA on and it's very smooth. The 5850 and 5870 are the first single-GPU cards that can really do it.

Are those prices in US Dollars, they seem a bit steep if they are, particularly the i7 930. Its 294.99 on newegg. Also you might consider changing the HD to a western digital caviar Black or a Samsung spinpoint F3.

I see.. You consider the independent AA/AF settings to be part of the detail settings.. I don't.

You would hardly notice the difference between 2x AA and 8x AA at that resolution; the pixel saturation is great enough to remove most of the jaggies.

Switch out your 5850 for a 5870. You are spending WAY too much on CPU instead of GPU.

For most games, except GTA IV: C2D + 5870 > i7 + 5850

Switch your HDD for a Western Digital Caviar Black version. Your system looks good and should play most games on max except Metro 2033.
