I have an xfx 5750 1 gig with its stock cooling. i oc'ed it only a little, as i dont have the best cooling in the world to 765/1225 (GPUCLOCK/MEMCLOCK),

I ran furmark for around 10 min. for the last 5 min. it altered from 89C-91C and didnt go any higher than that. It was idle at 59C, is this an ok temp? I didnt see any artifacts

I'd say if it ever goes over 80, it's dangerous

Those temps, seem rather high, especially for the 5xxx. I assume you were running automatic fanspeeds. Try manually setting them to 60-80%

Edit: My 460 does'nt pass 80 in furmark when at 800 MHz and it's supposed to be hotter than yours.

My 460 doesn't really go higher than 40. :P Right now it's idling at 26 on auto fan speeds.

How the hell do you do that? That's much lower load than most cards do idle :P Anyway, to the TC: Anything under 90C is good for most cards.

Alright, well on stock it was 86-89C, Though this was on furmark, and I dont think any games stress it as much as furmark....

Really? I Idle at 30 which is already damn low in my opinion. And the 460 is supposed to tolerate 100 (Not that I'd ever accept even 80 in games).

Starcraft2/Assasins Creed 2 never go beyond 60 though.

Furmark is usually much hotter than games can manage. My 5870 doesn't go much past 70C in games, but it hits 85C in furmark.

I got two fans blowing directly at it from the side, and my PSU has a really big fan that exhausts a lot of air. Pretty cool stuff. :P
