I have read a couple of threads to see what I could do to make sure my video cards temperature was fine.

After finding a thread someone was mentioning things I should do and adding 70c is a bad temperature for a GPU.

So I went along doing things mention; downloading Riva Tuner setting this to 45% (orignally 27%) and then after words downloading PC Wizard 2008.

When I rebooted my computer I releasied I was more happier that even though the fan sounded louded i knew it sounded better and I thought it would be cool.

I then play black and white 2 and after I start playing about 5 or 10 minutes into it the GFX temperature is 74%

Know of course I am worried but I then think if there was a problem it would turn off but then I could end up breaking it by overheating the card.

Any feedback people?

I have a ATI 3870x2, and my main gpu is 67 degrees, and the secondary gpu is at 54 degrees celcius (on idle). When I play a game it goes way over 70 C, so I don't think you gotta worry about yours... my old nvidia 7800gs went up to the low 70s when i was using it also. 70-80 seems to be alright for graphics cards... unlike cpus, which you don't want running over mid 60's.
