Is NBA 2K9 on PC going to be a port of the 360 or PS2 build of the game?

I was just wondering if anyone knew, because it's being a seriously long time since a decent Basetball game was released on the PC. Hopefully, NBA 2K9 is a port of the 360 build of the game, can anyone confirm which build of the game the PC is going to be based upon? Cheers.

Let's just leave it this way: I'm sure the console versions will all be far better than the PC version of NBA 2K9. Dev teams develop sports games for consoles, not PCs. It's unfortunate, but true.

EDIT: And to answer your Q, no idea which version. I'd put my money on whichever version would be cheaper for the devs to port.

It's going to be a 360 port. It's on the official 2k forums, though I don't have an exact link to the thread.

There is no online. Maybe they will at least put an ip to ip play but it doesn't sound like it. Hopefully they do a decent job otherwise...

it's a 360 port. it wouldn't make much sense for 2k sports to do a ps2 port. the only reason ea sports used to do ps2 ports was because it was simply easier to use the previous pc versions and build on it instead of making a 360 port from the ground up. for 2k sports, making a pc version would be a new project whether they do a ps2 port or a 360 port, so it would make sense to do a 360 port, cuz who would want to buy a ps2 port of the game?
