Not really...but it can still do the trick with enough ram and good vga.

It should hold you for a year. Just be weary of CPU intensive games like SupCom.

depends what games, games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R and supcom will really push this card past its extremes (ina bad way of course).

the Pentium 4 simply isn't worth the money. While you might be able to play some games if you OC it (bad idea cuz of the 90nm fabrication process and high stock frequency) the AMD Athlon 64 is still a pretty good processor. While it cant compete with the Core 2 duo, it can still play most modern games, and it better for OCing because of the low stock speeds
