Not everything was 50% off unfortunately. The range was 10 to 50%. I do hope Call of Duty 4, Left 4 Dead, and Fallout 3 are slashed to $25, though. That would be amazing...but unlikely.

This question is being asked in a couple of threads on the Steam forum as well, apparently last year's sale was on the 24th, what time is it in the US? I'm guessing it will probably start at 12 noon, PST if not, maybe it'll just start whenever they feel like it :?

Steam always does this, like the L4D demo was GARUNTEED to launch at 12am pst. I wait til 4am and it doesent launch, next day it came up around 3pm.
A few google searches and It seems last years last-minute sale started around 8-8:30pm to Jan 1, so maybe it will be the same as last year so there's still hope.:P
Not really online, but I confirm the steam deal this holiday. I got a random access to the homapage, although all pictures are not working. Here some deals I could see: 50%: Ifluid: 5$ Red orchestra (7.50$), audiosurf (5$)
Also Spore=37.50$, same for warhammer and brother in arms: HH. All the game 10% minimum like last year.

Well, problem with Quake Live is that it's just plain vanilla Quake III. Not that it is bad really, it's just that i for one prefer a lot of the mods out there.
