why wehn i paly lan game Rise of Nation.

when i or my oponion gos on my teretory or i go on his people solders starts to die.

is there somehting i can do ? like torn off something that why wont die?

Why does this happen when I play RoN via LAN? When I or my opponent goes on my territory or I go to the enemy units, soldiers start to die. Is there something I can do about this? Like turn off something that won't die? It's kind of unrealistic
