I've heard that Dell's Dimension line of desktops won't fit a dual-slot card.. I'd say aim for a 7900GS or X1950Pro.. or maybe an 8600GT since you have a high quality 305W power supply in that E521.

I'd say get something else before you get a Dell, buy an HP or something if you absolutely have to go with pre-built, then just get a new case, psu and your video card.

I think i have got it. I will get this power supply.

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2974490&sku=ULT31839%20K

This graphics card

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2900230&Sku=E145-8014

And just use the case that came with the computer until i actually need a new one

Correct me if i am wrong but i wont have any problems with cooling or anything elesle for the matter with this setup. I checked with dell and the card will fit. And this will be enough power right? i think so tell me if u see any thing that i should chang your imput is greatly appreciated.

That power supply is a really dumb idea. Normally I'll back someone up if they want to go with Ultra or a lesser known brand just because they can get it cheaper, but that's way too cheap, and an 8800GTS? I'd look into getting a StealthXStream or Corsair HX520, or even the $70 dollar xclio which is a pretty sweet deal.
