IS The MMX 300 the same as the DT770.

I Have been directed towards beyerdynamic through this forum for a gaming headset. Iam stuck between these two atm.

The mmx 300 and the dt770, a few on head-fi say there the same headset?

I'm fairly sure the MMX 300 is a rebagged DT 770 Premium 32 Ohm. There are a lot of different DT 770 models so it won't be exactly the same as say the most common Pro 80 ohms version. I don't think the large premium you pay for the permanently attached mic is worth it. What are you connecting it to? Do you have a sound card, amplifier?

i was wanting it for my xbox with an astro mix amp. I was also getting them to listen to music and watch movies
