[QUOTE="naval"]Even some sites, including Steam, count that as a "demo". I wonder why? It's labelled as Dragon Age Character Creator Demo, so while it's not really a demo for Dragon Age, it's technically still a demo I guess :PNo demo but there is(was ?) a character creator demo, but that really serves no purpose except showing you all the classes and related options available

You really don't need a demo for Dragon Age. Since you can save anytime, if you make a mistake all you have to do is reload a saved game.:)
Simply go to a video site and look at some end user gameplay footage. Try to avoid major spoilers or just turn the sound off. You should be able to get a good idea what its like from a video otherwise just do what I do when I am unsure. Wait till it hits $20 or less.
They'll manage fine without you, believe it or not. They need a demo. There is no way I am going to buy a game that is similar to NWN2 and just shell out a boat load of money for it. NWN2 had some really wanky camera action going on and it ruined the game for me. I promised myself that I would never buy a similar game again and really the only way to change my mind on that and for some others is to give us a demo showing that your game is not like that.
