Is there a way to test my internet continuity

hello there ,

I wondered if there is a program that can test if my internet streams continuously . Even tho this is a PC hardware forum my 360 gets kicked out every 10-20 minutes from xbox live as if someone shuts off the internet and i have to sign in manually. I wondered if these slight pauses when the internet stops working is affecting my pc too. It's almost impossible to notice from browsing the internet or when loading videos.
