Asked this in the Steam thread, figured Id make a quick thread as well.

Im tempted to buy ME1 and ME2 from Steam, and would like to get ME3 on the PC as well so I can play it at 1080p 60 fps. But I have already spent over 50 hours in each game and dont want to play every single side mission over again. Is there a way to transfer my 360 save file to the PC versions I buy from Steam? I've already googled it and haven't found anything so far.

Thanks in advance.

Negative. I know you can get this Mass Effect 2 Genesis thing which allows you to remake all the important choices from ME1 before you start your ME2 character, but that's about it.

no, but you can download a save file that resembles yours at http://www.masseffectsaves.com/. Chances are you can find one with the same chocies you made. It's probably your best bet.

There is a website utility you can use which will convert a Xbox 360 ME2 save game into a PC save game (and vice versa). Firstly you will need to get your xbox 360 save games off the console. There is a handy guide on how to do that here :-

http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/128/index/2277020

Once you have your xbox save game you create an account on this site :-

Then use the tool to convert your xbox 360 save into a pc save.

Personally I think it is more trouble than it is worth and I would just use the save game editor to create a PC save with the decisions. You can find the save game editor here :-

It's called Gibbed's save game editor.

Nope, but what you can do is go online to Mass Effect save sites and you can pretty much download your same character (with same choices, story,etc..).

Then if you dont like the characters looks you can edit it to something you want (like yrou xbox360 look if you want).

I did this for ME2 as I played ME1 first on xbox.

The savegame editing is your best bet if you can do it easily, otherwise go for someone else saves. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tester, http://www.trademeters.com/ POS Software TradeMeters POS
