Is there anything better than daemon tools?

Alcohol 120% might be a better solution for you - not only it mounts images, but creates and burns them to disc as well.

Other programs to consider include PowerISO and MagicISO.

yeah alcohol is the way to go if you have problems with daemon.

Ya, since I installed DAEMON tools, I can not burn anything from data CD's to back-up discs. The image that Nero 6 copies to the HDD before burning is always corrupt for some reason. I had to install a duel boot so that I could easily get a clean settings to burn again. Un-installing DAEMON tools did not fix the problem either. It is like, if I install it, no more burning period.

Daemon Tools always helps me to backup my discs... I started using it since I completely lost my Diablo II discs... now I keep backups ALWAYS!

Alcohol has a simple interface, but it has a good amount of power and versatility in it's features. Pretty straight forward, I like that in a program.
