@MonsieurX: I would have much rather been given a reason to go with AMD rather than just a statement. There are plenty of brand nazis out there. I won't pretend to have known that AMD is superior at mining; that's why I'm asking these forums for advice.
To humor you, its because of the architecture AMD currently uses for their GPUs. AMD cards are much more efficient mining due to their architecture being "better" at performing the algorithms that litecoins use. Again mining bit coins with this is POINTLESS.
The 760 will get you 120 Mhash/s at the most.
A ATI HD 7870 gets you 450Mhash/s give or take.
This gets you, as I said, almost three times the hash rate of your nvidia gpu. Uses crap tons less power, and literally you just need to stick it in a usb port.

Sorry I was wrong they now cost 50$.
These all, however, would not have a return on profit. You would lose money mining BITcoins with your rig and even if you had an AMD card you still would. (if you net any profit it may be a penny or two)
And with litecoins... well.... I was really wrong. Your hashrate is so god awful I do not even think you would get 25 cents a day (mining 24/7 and by the time power is factored in you may lose money).
So to put it bluntly, this rig is absolutely positively useless for LITEcoin and BITcoin mining.
There is me humoring you.
Monsieur is right, you should be researching this, because evidently you understand little to nothing about mining and before you dive into something like that (especially if you are looking to turn a profit) you should do some research first. Literally google guides and such for crypto-currency mining, Bitcoins are not the only one (not to mention their value just went down a ton).
So stop complaining about people not explaining things to you, and telling you to do the research on your own. Because you should go do the research on your own.
